Linlithgow retianed the East League Cup at Prestonfield after coming from behind to 
Defeat a spirited Newtongrange side who had taken an early lead.

It was Newtongrange who made the better start to the match hemming Rose into their own 
half but after the initial burst Rose started to come more and more into the game and looked
more dangerous with claims for a penalty waived way as Herd had his jersey held.
Newtongrange hit back though and after winning a corner Gareth Hutchison rose unmarked
in the box outjumping PInkowski to head Newtongrange into the lead.
Rose hit back though and following a long throw by Courts, Kevin Donnelly's flick on was 
knocked into the net by Carrigan to level the scores.
Just before the break Rose went in front when another Courts long throw was 
knocked on to McArthur and he produced a fine over head flick to score at the bottom corner.
The seond half saw Rose much more in control and when Gordon Herd scored the pick 
of the nights goals with a bullet header it was all over.
